George S. West graduated from Texas A&M University with a BA and South Texas College of Law with a JD. After working for several industry consulting companies he started The Commodity Consultants Group in 1998 which later became Chemical Intelligence based in Houston, Texas. Chemical Intelligence produces multi-client reports on glycols, methanol and solvents in addition to undertaking proprietary consulting projects on behalf of a wide range of clients around the world.
